About the 3 Buzzing Wilds game
3 Buzzing Wilds is a bee-themed video slot from Pragmatic Play, played on a 5×4 reel layout with 20 fixed paylines. The game uses a traditional payline format rather than a Megaways, Hold & Win, or cluster system. It has high volatility, a standard RTP of 96.03%, and a maximum win of up to 5,000x the stake. Its main attraction is a set of three Wild mechanics—Random Wilds, Expanding Wilds, and Surrounding Wilds—which can appear in the base game and also form the basis of three selectable Free Spins modes.
Game Mechanics and Features
Wins are created by landing matching symbols on consecutive reels from left to right across one of the 20 paylines. Standard Wild symbols substitute for regular paying symbols, while the three special Wild features can change the reels in different ways. Random Wilds place Wild symbols on random positions, Expanding Wilds can cover an entire reel, and Surrounding Wilds transform adjacent symbols into Wilds.
Landing three or more Beehive Scatter symbols triggers the bonus round, where you choose one of three Free Spins options. Random Wilds awards 10 free spins, Expanding Wilds awards 8, and Surrounding Wilds awards 6. During these rounds, Wilds generated by the selected feature become sticky and remain in position until the bonus ends, giving each option a different balance between the number of spins and Wild behaviour.
A Bonus Buy feature is available in supported versions, allowing direct access to the Free Spins round for 100x the stake. Availability may depend on the casino and local regulations.
Theme and Appearance
3 Buzzing Wilds takes place in a colourful garden filled with bees, butterflies, caterpillars, ladybirds, flowers, honey, and cheerful woodland details. The symbols use a bright cartoon style, while the special Wild effects clearly show when reels expand or surrounding positions are converted.
The presentation is light-hearted, but the high volatility means the mathematical profile is better suited to players comfortable with potentially less frequent wins and larger swings. 3 Buzzing Wilds may appeal especially to players who enjoy traditional fixed-payline slots with several distinct Wild mechanics and a choice-based Free Spins feature. The game is also available on compatible desktop, tablet, and mobile devices through modern online casino platforms.
