About the 8 Dragons game
8 Dragons is an Asian dragon-themed online slot from Pragmatic Play, built around stacked dragon symbols, Chinese fortune imagery, red-and-gold colours and multiplier-based free spins. The verified version uses 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 paylines, with public sources listing an RTP rate of 96.37% and medium volatility. It may suit players who enjoy traditional Asian slots where the main excitement comes from stacked symbols and multiplier choices rather than a complicated bonus map.
The game plays on a familiar 5x3 layout with 20 fixed paylines, making it easy to understand from the first spin. The dragon symbols are central to the gameplay and usually appear stacked in groups, which gives the reels stronger visual impact. The interface uses Chinese dragon imagery, coins, gold tones and warm red backgrounds. The base game moves at a steady rhythm, while the multiplier structure gives players something specific to watch for whenever dragon symbols land.
Gameplay and special features
The main feature in 8 Dragons is connected to the stacked dragons. These dragon symbols can land in groups of two, and when they take part in wins, they can apply a 2x multiplier. This makes the dragons more valuable than ordinary high-paying symbols, because they can increase the result rather than simply forming a normal combination.
The free spins feature adds more depth by allowing players to choose their preferred bonus style. During free spins, stacked dragons can receive random multipliers of up to 30x, depending on the selected option. This choice gives the bonus round a more personal feel, because players can balance the number of spins against the strength of possible multipliers. The game also includes scatter symbols to activate the bonus, and the rules should be checked in the paytable for exact trigger conditions.
Theme, graphics, and atmosphere
The theme uses Chinese dragons, koi fish, coins, fire, gold details and bright Asian colours. The symbols are bold and easy to read, with a classic fortune-slot atmosphere.
Overall, 8 Dragons may suit players who enjoy Pragmatic Play slots, Asian themes, 20 paylines, stacked dragons, free spins and multiplier mechanics that can make dragon wins feel more powerful.
