About the Area Link Scarab Riches game
Area Link Scarab Riches is an impressive online slot machine with an ancient Egyptian theme, developed by AreaVegas through the Games Global platform. Players are transported to the mystical world of pharaohs and pyramids, where scarabs and Anubis statues hide special bonuses. The game was released on August 13, 2024, and has been popular ever since among players who enjoy high volatility slot machines with big wins.
Game mechanics and features
Area Link Scarab Riches is a 5-reel, 3-row slot with 20 fixed paylines. The RTP is 96.5%, which is favorable for players, while the game's volatility is high, so you can expect bigger but less frequent wins. The maximum win is 5,000 times the bet, which is a significant opportunity for players.
The main features of the game include:
● Area Link Feature: The scarab symbols activate this feature. When at least six scarabs appear on the reels, the Area Link Feature is triggered. You will then receive three re-spins, and each new scarab will reset the number of re-spins to three. The scarabs can contain cash prizes, multipliers or even jackpots.
● Scarab upgrades: There are four different colored scarabs in the game, each offering a special bonus:
- Green scarab: Applies a 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier to winnings.
- Purple scarab: Activates a double game grid, allowing two separate Area Link features to play out at the same time.
- Red scarab: Collects the values of all scarabs and combines them.
- Blue scarab: Increases the value of all scarabs on the reels.
● Jackpots: There are four jackpots available: Mini (10x), Minor (20x), Major (100x) and Grand (5,000x), which can be collected during the Area Link Feature.
Theme and graphics
The theme of the game evokes the world of ancient Egypt, where various symbols such as Anubis statues, scarabs, gold jewelry, and other Egyptian relics appear on the reels. In the background, you can see the entrance to a huge temple, which enhances the atmosphere of the game. The graphics are detailed and sharp, and the sound effects faithfully reflect the Egyptian environment.
