About the Champions of Mithrune game
Champions of Mithrune is a fantasy-themed online slot machine released by Play'n GO in September 2022, which tells the story of five heroic champions who fight against a dark wizard, Duran, to save the kingdom of Mithrune. The game has 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines that pay from left to right. Players can win prizes by using the champions' special abilities, while stunning graphics and epic music enhance the experience.
Theme and features
The game's theme takes players to a magical fantasy world where five champions – Anastina, Olc, Silvana, Gorm, and Syn – join forces against the evil Duran. A mystical castle and waterfalls can be seen in the background, adding to the atmosphere of the game. The reels feature the symbols of the champions alongside classic card symbols (10, J, Q, K, A). The game features a Wild symbol, which substitutes for other symbols, and a Scatter symbol, which is needed to activate free spins.
Features and bonuses
One of the main features of the game is the Champion Feature, which is activated randomly during the base game. Each champion has their own special ability:
● Anastina: Adds identical symbols ranging in size from 2x2 to 5x5 to the reels.
● Olc: Turns the 2nd, 3rd or 4th reel into a Wild reel.
● Silvana: Adds 4-7 Wild symbols to the reels.
● Gorm: Turns card symbols into Wild symbols.
● Syn: Turns all champion symbols into the highest value symbol.
The free spins mode can be activated by spinning three Scatter symbols. This is followed by the Power Up mini-game, where players can collect Champion Tokens, Potions, and additional Scatters. Collecting three identical Champion Tokens activates the corresponding champion's ability during the free spins.
Collecting three Potions increases the win multiplier, while three Scatters award additional free spins. During the free spins, the collected champion abilities and win multipliers remain active, increasing the chances of winning.
The game has an RTP of 96.25%, which is above the industry average. The volatility is high, so the game offers less frequent but larger wins. The maximum win is 7,500 times the bet, which can be a significant win for lucky players.
