Chicago

Chicago is a Prohibition-era online slot machine from NOVOMATIC. This five-reel, three-row video slot has 20 paylines and follows the conflict between Al Capone’s gang and Eliot Ness’s Untouchables. Its main features are a substituting Wild, Cadillac Scatter symbols and a Bottle Shooting bonus round during free spins. You can find Chicago among Luckera’s slots through the Homepage.

Rival Gangs on the Reels

The 1930s setting gives each spin a crime-story backdrop. The Chicago logo serves as the Wild, substituting for other symbols except the Cadillac. The Cadillac is the Scatter to watch: three or more appearing anywhere on the reels trigger 12 free games.

The 20 paylines determine regular line wins, while the Cadillac trigger depends on how many of those symbols appear across the grid. Before you spin, the in-game paytable is the place to check symbol values and the stake you have selected. The gangland artwork, classic cars and opposing figures carry the theme through the base game, with the two special symbols clearly tied to their different roles.

Free Games and Bottle Shooting

During free spins, every winning free game activates the Bottle Shooting Bonus. It determines a win multiplier of 1×, 2×, 3×, 5× or 10× for that game’s win. This makes a winning spin a two-stage event: the reels establish the result, then the bottle-shooting feature sets its multiplier.

The free games use the current bet, and the feature can award another set of free games while it is underway. Watch for Cadillac symbols during the feature as well as in the base game, since they can extend the sequence. The multiplier applies to wins in the free games; its value is decided separately for each winning game.

If you enjoy crime-themed slots with a clear Scatter trigger and a bonus that changes the value of free-game wins, Chicago is worth exploring. Check Luckera’s Responsible Gaming page before playing.
