About the Lucky 8 Merge Up game
Lucky 8 Merge Up is a unique 6×6 grid game developed by BGaming, featuring the revolutionary Merge Up™ mechanic that is taking the cluster game world by storm. This number-based slot is the perfect blend of the classic Merge-2048 mobile game and modern casino elegance. The game has an RTP of 97.25%, which places it in the upper segment of the industry, and it has very high volatility, offering less frequent but spectacular wins.
During gameplay, instead of traditional paylines, players must build clusters: a minimum of four identical numbers must touch, and then they "rise" to form a symbol with a higher value. This Merge Up™ mechanic is one of the main features of the game, opening up new decoration possibilities after every win – a single spin can even result in multiple wins thanks to the fellow cascade mechanic.
Clusters, free spins and multipliers
The game features the cluster-based Merge Up™ and a cascade system, where new symbols appear after a win, further increasing your chances. Landing 8 scatters activates 4–6 free spins, with the potential to win up to 15–20 free spins. During these spins, the multipliers remain on the grid and can increase by x2 with each cluster win, up to a maximum of x128. This is particularly useful when a cell appears multiple times in a win.
Players also have instant access to the "Buy Bonus" and "Chance x2" options, which further increase the chances of triggering the bonus round. In addition, the maximum win is 5000× your stake, which is a serious incentive for strategic play.
Aesthetics, structure, and gameplay
The theme of the game is retro, with numbered symbols and modern, colorful graphics. The 6×6 structure, clusters, and intuitive layout of the multipliers offer a logical and exciting experience. There are no paylines, so the focus is not on classic combinations, but on the Merge Up chains, which become captivating during the game.
Thanks to visual and mechanical innovations developed in collaboration with BVG, as well as a premium RTP rate and high volatility index, Lucky 8 Merge Up offers a truly unique and exciting slot experience.
