About the Wings of Fire game
Wings of Fire is a Russian fairytale-themed online slot machine from NOVOMATIC, played on five reels, three rows and 20 paylines. A firebird acts as an expanding Wild, while wolf Scatter symbols trigger free spins. The story follows a wolf leading the way to a magical firebird. The Firebird and Wolf Symbols
In the base game, the firebird appears on the third reel and expands to cover every position on it. It substitutes for all symbols except the wolf. When the bird expands, check which combinations it helps complete across the 20 paylines.
The wolf has a different role: three wolf symbols appearing anywhere on the reels trigger 15 free games. Since they can land in any position, look across the whole grid after each spin. The two animals connect the fairytale artwork to the gameplay: one expands on a reel, while the other starts the free-game feature.
Before choosing a stake, open the in-game paytable to check symbol values. Following both the paylines and the scattered wolves will help you understand each result.
Free Spins With More Firebirds
During free spins, the firebird can appear on reels two and four as well as reel three. It still substitutes for all symbols except the wolf, giving you more possible positions to watch for this Wild during the feature. The game continues to use the same 20 paylines.
The 15 free games are played at the current bet. More free games can be won while the feature is active, so watch for another group of three scattered wolves. Each spin keeps the two special symbols in focus: the firebird can help form line wins, while the wolves can extend the feature.
